About This Role
- Design, implement, and support Pega Platform infrastructure in AWS-based Private Cloud environments with a focus on containerization and externalizing services like Kafka and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
- Configure and manage highly available Kafka clusters, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch clusters, and deploy containerized Pega applications using Docker, Kubernetes (Amazon EKS), and Helm.
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), support production environments including incident management, performance tuning, and disaster recovery.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of overall IT experience with at least 3 years hands-on Pega Infrastructure/Cloud experience.
- Strong knowledge of Pega deployment and administration on Private Cloud including externalizing services like Kafka and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka/Amazon MSK, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, AWS Cloud Services, Docker, Kubernetes/Amazon EKS, Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Experience with cloud networking, security (IAM, certificates, access controls), CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in end-to-end Pega Platform infrastructure setup on Private Cloud integrating containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and externalized services (Kafka, OpenSearch).
- Proficient in AWS private cloud architecture and automation, comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams (application, DevOps, security).
- Capable of managing highly available distributed systems with strong operational skills in monitoring, incident management, and disaster recovery.
