About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance batch and streaming data pipelines using cloud-native platforms like Databricks and AWS services.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across data platforms supporting BI, analytics, and machine learning for FOX's digital ecosystem.
- Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams, mentor junior engineers, and document technical designs and tests to deliver reliable data solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant field.
- 3 to 7 years of experience in designing and building data engineering solutions and platforms.
- Experience with Databricks or Snowflake for Lakehouse or Data Warehouse solutions, Apache Spark, Kafka or similar streaming technologies, AWS cloud services, and advanced SQL programming.
- Experience with data engineering tools such as Fivetran, DBT, GitHub, Airflow, and CI/CD pipelines.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Mid to senior-level data engineer with proven expertise in distributed data processing and cloud-native data platforms.
- Experienced in building scalable, real-time data ingestion and transformation pipelines enabling data-driven decisions in a digital entertainment context.
- Strong operational focus on data quality, automation, performance tuning, and security with ability to mentor team members and communicate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
