About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot) within an agile team.
- Develop, deploy, and support solutions on AWS using core AWS services for compute, storage, networking, security, and observability.
- Participate in production support including on-call incident response, root-cause analysis, and driving system reliability and resiliency improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience.
- Proficient coding skills in Java, including use of Spring Boot and RESTful services.
- Working knowledge of AWS fundamentals including IAM/access and monitoring/logging.
- Experience with backend data stores (relational and/or NoSQL) and writing efficient queries.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working in a large corporate environment with modern programming and database querying languages.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security practices.
- Exposure to AWS services like Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB/RDS, CloudWatch and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
