About This Role
- Own technical leadership and architecture for SAAS product development, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with market needs.
- Collaborate with product management to shape product roadmap, validate user stories, and drive prototype development with emerging technologies.
- Lead and mentor scrum teams, conduct design/code reviews, manage technical debt prioritization, and contribute to recruitment initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of professional software development experience; at least 1 year in a Principal Software Engineer role.
- Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails, service-oriented architecture, event-driven architecture, and cloud infrastructure application development.
- Remote work for India location; core hours 2 PM – 11 PM IST, Monday to Friday.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader with deep architectural knowledge in SAAS platforms and ability to balance immediate solutions with long-term maintainability.
- Proficient in mentoring, technical decision-making, and managing cross-functional team collaboration with product management.
- Familiarity with technologies like NATS.IO, Jetstream, Kafka, and GoLang is preferred for strategic fit.
