About This Role
- Administer and support enterprise perimeter security controls including next-generation firewalls (Palo Alto/Fortinet) and secure web proxy technologies across on-premises, cloud, and remote-access environments.
- Design, implement, and improve perimeter security components, ensuring policy compliance, incident response, and service uptime (24/5 shift support with rotation across days, mids, and nights).
- Collaborate with various technical teams to resolve connectivity and policy issues, mentor junior engineers, and maintain detailed documentation and standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in perimeter security focusing on enterprise firewall and secure web proxy technologies.
- Proven experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama; Prisma Access experience strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise secure web proxy or SSE platform (e.g., Zscaler, Symantec ProxySG, Netskope, Forcepoint).
- Mandatory on-site work in Bangalore with 24/5 availability and shift flexibility; Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing complex security incidents and integrating multi-domain security solutions involving network, cloud, endpoint, SOC, and IAM teams.
- Skilled in formal incident, configuration, and change management processes within enterprise security operations or consulting environments.
- Certified in Palo Alto (PCNSE), Fortinet (NSE4/NSE5), proxy/SSE platforms, or cloud security (AWS/Azure) certifications indicating advanced technical expertise.
