About This Role
- Design and automate test suites for next-gen optical coherent pluggable transceiver firmware validation.
- Own and define validation strategies ensuring carrier-class quality for coherent pluggable optics and transponder products.
- Lead complex system-level and feature-level validation, collaborate across HW, ASIC, FW, and SW teams, and manage root cause analysis for field issues.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in validation of optical telecom products.
- Strong domain expertise with Coherent Optics, Transponders, and standards like OTN (G.709), Ethernet (100G/400G/800G), CMIS.
- Proficient in Python and test automation tools including pytest, Git, CI/CD integration, and hands-on with optical test equipment.

- Experienced in carrier-grade embedded system validation within Agile and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end validation strategies and collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines (HW, ASIC, FW, SW).
- Skilled in root cause analysis and improving test coverage in complex product environments under fast-paced delivery demands.
