About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and AI-powered applications using Java/Python, Spring Boot, Kafka, and cloud-native architectures.
- Build and deploy distributed, event-driven microservices with high availability on Kubernetes and cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS, GCP).
- Drive engineering excellence including performance tuning, reliability improvements, mentoring junior engineers, and technical design leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on programming skills in Java and/or Python with experience in Spring Boot and microservices.
- Experience with Kafka, distributed systems, RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced senior individual contributor comfortable independently leading complex backend and AI integration projects.
- Strong technical expertise in scalable distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native deployment.
- Familiarity with AI agent frameworks, LLM integrations, and applying AI technologies to business solutions is a plus.
