About This Role
- Define and lead test strategy and manual testing for SICAM SOG products and related Grid Automation applications across the product lifecycle.
- Analyze business and functional requirements for completeness and testability, validating power system workflows against real-world utility operations and domain standards.
- Manage defect prioritization and reporting, collaborate with multiple stakeholders including Product Owners and Development teams, and drive quality governance through metrics and process improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- 8 to 10 years total work experience with at least 5+ years in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Minimum 3+ years experience leading testing activities or test teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Power Systems, Electro-Optics Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong domain experience in Substation Automation, Power Grid, or Energy Management applications; testing expertise including test planning, design, strategy preparation, defect lifecycle management; ISTQB certification preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading test teams and defining test strategies within large-scale energy or grid automation projects.
- Demonstrates strong domain knowledge specifically in Power Distribution Networks, Grid Automation Systems, and Smart Grid Solutions including DER, EV infrastructure, and relevant automation technologies.
- Capable of managing cross-functional stakeholder collaboration and driving quality governance driven by data and continuous improvement.
