About This Role
- Define and develop automated functional and system test solutions for Fixed Networks manufacturing environments, ensuring quality and reliability of every produced unit.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and global manufacturing suppliers to implement, maintain, and optimize manufacturing test systems and industrial test fixtures.
- Analyze test and production data to identify and drive product and process improvements; work with customer teams to automate product configuration for factories and warehouses.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline.
- 8-10 years relevant work experience in manufacturing test development and industrial test fixture design for PCB and finished goods.
- Strong electronics hardware (PCB) design and testing knowledge; proficiency in Python with object-oriented programming skills.
- Experience with TestStand, TCL, C/C++; familiarity with test instruments, instrument control, optical communication standards (e.g., PON/AP), and Linux development environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in working closely with hardware development teams and global manufacturing suppliers in a complex production environment.
- Technically proficient in programming and test automation tools with understanding of LLM techniques and Linux-based systems.
- Knowledgeable in optical communication network standards and networking principles (GPON, Ethernet, TCP/IP) to support test strategy and automation.
