About This Role
- Architect, design, and implement scalable, stable data storage and retrieval solutions for large distributed systems handling high data volumes.
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing existing policies and procedures and review application design executed by scrum teams.
- Maintain and update ERD documentation and collaborate with IT for lifecycle management of databases and backup infrastructure.
Minimum Requirements
- 11 to 13 years of experience designing and maintaining large database systems with optimization and upgrades.
- Expertise in relational databases (preferably Oracle, Postgres) and ETL development using Pentaho/Informatica.
- Experience in cloud solutions implementation (preferably AWS), Agile methodology, Unix systems, and shell scripting.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior leadership; flexibility to work from Quest and/or customer office as needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading database architecture in complex, large-scale distributed environments with performance optimization focus.
- Skilled in Agile and scrum methodologies with the ability to manage multitasking across multiple teams.
- Capable of proactive leadership and confident communication with senior stakeholders to drive delivery.
