About This Role
- Lead design and evolution of enterprise-grade real-time streaming data platforms supporting critical business and regulatory outcomes.
- Own technical decisions, architecture, delivery, and operations of low-latency, resilient streaming platforms at scale in production.
- Manage and mentor engineering teams ensuring high standards in software quality, platform scalability, observability, and operational stability.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience building and operating real-time streaming data solutions in production at scale with accountability for reliability and performance.
- Proficiency in Java programming and production-grade software engineering for business-critical systems.
- Experience with modern streaming and data technologies such as Kafka, Pulsar, Kinesis, Flink, or Spark Structured Streaming.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 8 years in streaming data engineering/real-time platforms; Role location: Pune, India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior engineering leader comfortable balancing hands-on coding and high-level architectural decisions for large-scale streaming data platforms.
- Experienced in financial services or similarly regulated environments requiring strong governance, control, and risk management for production data platforms.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams while aligning technical solutions with strategic business objectives and compliance needs.
