About This Role
- Manage and lead a backend development team focused on Node.js and Typescript to build scalable, reliable backend applications and APIs.
- Oversee system integrations between databases, APIs, and cloud/on-premises platforms, ensuring robustness with transaction management and failure handling.
- Support management of cloud-based services with emphasis on AWS and implement AI capabilities within products.
Minimum Requirements
- 13 to 16 years of experience in backend software development.
- Strong expertise in Node.js, Typescript, API design patterns, microservices architecture, and relational (MySQL/Postgres) and NoSQL (DynamoDb, MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
- Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Primarily based in Hyderabad, India with ability to work full-time and overlap hours with US time zones as needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in architecting and designing highly available, security-focused distributed systems with emphasis on backend and API development.
- Proven ability to manage backend teams and deliver complex integrations across cloud (preferably AWS) and on-premises systems with strong transactional and failure recovery handling.
- Background in AI development and Java Fullstack combined with strong problem-solving and cross-department collaboration skills.
