About This Role
- Own end-to-end solution architecture for SmartConnect platform using ThingWorx 10.x and Smart Connected Product Accelerator (SCPA), ensuring secure, scalable, resilient, and maintainable solutions.
- Translate business requirements and acceptance criteria into traceable technical architecture decisions, guiding development while maximizing use of standard SCPA configurations and reusable components.
- Lead architecture governance including reviews, risk management, migration strategy, and providing technical leadership to cross-functional teams ensuring security, integration, and operational supportability.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise software, industrial IoT, connected-product, or remote-service technology solutions.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with ThingWorx architecture or senior development, including versions 9.x or 10.x.
- 3+ years experience with Smart Connected Product Accelerator (SCPA) or comparable ThingWorx solution architecture.
- Work Experience Required: 8+ years overall with at least 5 years ThingWorx experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Deep expertise in ThingWorx architecture, including modeling, Thing Templates, Shapes, persistence, and API/event-driven integration.
- Strong background in secure remote-access and endpoint management, RBAC, identity federation, and enterprise system integrations (e.g., Salesforce, IAM/IdP, SAP).
- Proven capability in translating functional requirements into technical architectures aligned with governance, security, upgrade-safe customization, and operational excellence in IoT or connected product platforms.
