About This Role
- Lead the full QA cycle for Akamai Data Warehouse software releases including test planning, automation, and execution of manual and automated tests.
- Design and develop testing tools and scripts, including for regression and performance testing, to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Participate in all verification activities such as requirements gathering, feature, functional, regression, load, and performance testing focusing on backend distributed systems integration.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Relevant QA testing experience with strong knowledge of scripting languages including Python, shell script, and SQL.
- Good understanding of networking protocols and technologies, especially HTTP, HTTPS, and DNS.
- Experience in testing backend distributed systems and familiarity with Kubernetes.

- Experienced in working within Agile scrum teams supporting quality best practices and test automation.
- Technical focus on backend distributed systems testing within cloud-based or internet scale environments.
