About This Role
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot software components primarily on the ServiceNow platform within an agile HRSD Workforce Technology team.
- Execute software solutions leveraging enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality and delivery speed.
- Contribute to secure, stable, and scalable application development by analyzing technical issues and integrating upstream/downstream system considerations.
Minimum Requirements
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 2+ years of applied experience.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in corporate environments using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools including critical evaluation of AI outputs.
- Extensive knowledge or strong ability to learn the ServiceNow platform including writing custom widgets, configuration, and scripting; exposure to agile methodologies (CI/CD, resiliency, security).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in software engineering with direct exposure to ServiceNow platform development and ITSM/HRSD domains or demonstrated quick platform learning ability.
- Practiced in leveraging AI-assisted development tools responsibly within secure coding and agile development frameworks.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with a focus on creating secure, stable, and scalable enterprise software solutions.
