About This Role
- Provide day-to-day operational management of customers' Commvault solutions including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
- Install, configure, and migrate backup infrastructure components such as agents, applications, databases, and hypervisors as per customer and design specifications.
- Architect and propose Commvault software solutions to enhance customer deployments and work with development teams on software enhancements.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Science/IT/Electronics) or Bachelor plus Master of Computer Application.
- 9+ years of relevant experience in Technical Support, Professional Services, Managed Services, or Backup Administration with Commvault or similar backup products.
- Strong technical skills in Networking, Storage, Linux OS, TCP/IP, SCSI/iSCSI/Fibre Channel, Commvault implementation and troubleshooting, backup/recovery for Microsoft 365, Microsoft Applications, databases (Oracle, SAP/HANA), and familiarity with Public and Private Cloud platforms.
- Advanced communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams; ability to work independently and prioritize in high-volume environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in hands-on Commvault implementation and advanced troubleshooting within managed services or enterprise backup environments.
- Comfortable architecting solutions and collaborating with development teams to enhance product offerings and customer configurations.
- Proficient in diverse backup technologies including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and capable of managing complex, multi-application backup scenarios.
