Lead and manage a team of energy data analysts responsible for producing and delivering accurate energy market fundamental datasets for PLEXOS and Aurora.
Oversee the research, data analysis, model input processing, and benchmarking for power market production cost models including maintaining large energy data databases.
Run energy market models (PLEXOS and/or Aurora), interpret model outputs, troubleshoot errors, and implement model improvements to ensure quality and completeness of forecasting deliverables.
Minimum Requirements
Work Experience Required: 1 to 5 years experience (team members managed) indicated, implying leadership experience in energy data analysis or related field.
Strong experience with energy market modeling software (PLEXOS, Aurora) including running models and interpreting results.
Experience with data management involving diverse energy data sources such as data providers, regulatory agencies, and industry publications.
Location Requirement: Pune office based role (must work out of Pune).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced leader with proven capability managing and guiding a team of energy data analysts focused on power market fundamental data.
Deep technical knowledge of energy market models, especially PLEXOS and Aurora, with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for model outputs and data quality.
Comfortable working in a global, fast-growing technology environment handling end-to-end production and improvement of power market fundamental datasets and models.
