About This Role
- Design, develop and maintain production-grade REST APIs in Go following a layered architecture.
- Develop and operate secure, containerised services and manage associated Google Cloud Platform infrastructure including CI/CD pipelines.
- Own application code, infrastructure automation, security integrations, database migrations, and automated unit testing within defined architectural standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in Go backend development.
- Strong proficiency with Go 1.25+, gorilla/mux, PostgreSQL (including raw SQL and Flyway), and Google Cloud Platform services (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Build, Secret Manager).
- Hands-on experience with Docker (multi-stage builds, distroless images, non-root execution) and implementing Azure AD JWT/JWKS and OAuth2 client-credentials authentication.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 3+ years

- Experienced engineer capable of independently managing both backend development and DevOps automation under architectural and security standards.
- Comfortable with detailed architectural discipline, automated testing, code quality and security compliance integrations in CI/CD pipelines.
