About This Role
- Design, develop, and refactor sustainable backend Scala code in a collaborative environment.
- Contribute to technical and product specifications and participate in architecture and design decisions.
- Manage builds and CI/CD processes using CircleCI and GitOps with ArgoCD, ensuring robust testing and reliability.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of Scala backend development experience.
- 4+ years of experience designing SQL schemas mapping business domains.
- Experience with message-based architectures (e.g., Pulsar) and modern cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes).
- Work Experience Required: 6+ years in Scala backend; Experience with Spark, ETL, or Big Data without backend development will not be considered.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced backend engineer with strong ownership of full development lifecycle from design to deployment.
- Able to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams with excellent communication skills and a bias for continuous improvement.
- Comfortable working in cloud-native environments and managing CI/CD pipelines in scalable production systems.
