About This Role
- Develop and maintain REST APIs using Java technologies such as Spring MVC and Spring Boot.
- Implement high-performance, reusable application development within a team environment using Agile practices and Git for code integration.
- Ensure code quality and functionality through use of design patterns, unit testing frameworks like Junit and Mockito, and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 2 to 5 years of programming experience with Java 1.8, J2EE, Spring Framework 4.x including REST and Microservices.
- Proficient with build tools (Maven, Ant, or Gradle), IDEs (Eclipse, Visual Studio), and source control (Git).
- Strong understanding of REST API development using Spring or equivalent frameworks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in developing microservices-based applications with solid grasp of design patterns and principles like SOLID and Dependency Injection.
- Able to work effectively in a global Agile development team with good communication skills.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and additional tools like Swagger, Hibernate/MyBatis considered advantageous.
