About This Role
- Own end-to-end category performance for Casting, Stamping, and Metal Sub-Assembly commodities focusing on cost, quality, delivery, and innovation.
- Develop and implement global supplier and commodity strategies including supplier scouting, selection, negotiations, and localization initiatives to improve supply chain robustness and cost competitiveness.
- Act as single point of contact for commercial and strategic matters, lead supplier performance reviews, manage risk, and ensure compliance with Bosch governance and sustainability standards.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in strategic purchasing with knowledge of Machined, Casting, Stamping Sub assembly parts processes.
- Engineering degree (B.E. / B-Tech in Mechanical / Industrial) or MBA.
- Proficiency with SAP (MM Module) and experience with technical documents such as BOMs, Drawings, and Norms.
- Work Experience Required: 8+ years in strategic purchasing with relevant domain experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in complex supply chain and supplier management in manufacturing environments, especially with Machined, Casting, and Stamping parts.
- Demonstrated ability in strategic category management including cost engineering, should-cost analysis, and commercial negotiations.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to work with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams for integrated category and supplier strategies.
