Staff Software Engineer

Design, build, and operate AI-native, agentic, conversational capabilities across the sales quote-to-order lifecycle with responsibility for correctness and production reliability.

Author and maintain agentic instructions, tools, guardrails, and evaluation systems under engineering discipline to ensure safe autonomous workflows and mitigate risks like mispricing or contract errors.

Lead end-to-end domain ownership including architecture, integrations, evaluation, monitoring, and cross-team collaboration to deliver scalable and accountable AI-driven order management features.

8+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated production delivery of AI-native application features (not prototypes).

Direct experience authoring agentic instructions, designing AI-driven autonomous workflows, and building associated evaluation/test systems is mandatory.

Proficiency in integrating large language model APIs, agent orchestration, tool/function calling, and enforcing structured outputs in production.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experienced IC4-level engineer with demonstrated end-to-end ownership of complex AI-driven domain solutions, making architectural and operational decisions.

Comfortable designing probabilistic, model-driven behaviors requiring rigorous automated evaluation and continuous monitoring to assure quality and safety at scale.

Skilled collaborator able to partner effectively with product managers, designers, conversation designers, and mentor junior engineers in AI-specific engineering practices.
