About This Role
- Develop and deploy power analysis methodologies and infrastructure to measure and analyze IP power consumption.
- Correlate power models with RTL and silicon data to improve accuracy and impact assessment.
- Develop power models used for architecture exploration and optimization.
Minimum Requirements
- MS or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Architecture.
- 8+ years of experience in power benchmarking, analysis, and modeling.
- Experience with power impacts at architecture, logic design, and circuit levels, and knowledge of high performance out-of-order CPU architecture.
- Experience with ASIC power analysis and optimization; hands-on HW or SW development experience is a strong plus.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in developing large scale object-oriented code bases related to power modeling and analysis.
- Skilled in correlating architectural power data with RTL and silicon, indicating strong cross-domain expertise.
- Has worked in advanced CPU design or similar technology domains with complex power considerations.
