Design and develop hardware platform software layers, including BSP, device drivers, and kernel modules for IIoT switching and routing products.
Develop control plane and data plane software, ensure integration between hardware and software.
Perform code development, unit testing, debugging, and root cause analysis including software bring-up and customer failure resolution.
Bachelor’s (1-3 years) or Master’s degree (1-2 years) in Computer Science, EE/ECE or related fields.
Proficient in C/C++ coding and strong understanding of OS including Linux kernel and device drivers.
Experience developing software/firmware for networking equipment.
Experience with debugging and verification methodologies; experience with AI tools for software development is noted but not strictly mandatory.
Experience with control plane or data plane software development, Linux/RTOS/Networking OS internals.
Networking domain knowledge including L2/L3, wireless or security protocols, or peripheral interface development and validation (PCI, PCIe, I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, Ethernet).
Capable of writing detailed design documents and functional specs, and innovating to create IP/patents.
