About This Role
- Own design, implementation, and evolution of high-volume transactional backend systems, including refactoring and rewriting legacy systems with zero downtime.
- Design, build, test, deploy scalable backend services and robust APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Develop and optimize synchronous low-latency APIs and asynchronous message queue workflows; design and implement Agentic AI solutions integrating LLMs and complex workflow state-machines.
Minimum Requirements
- Approximately 3 years of professional backend engineering experience with exposure to refactoring monolithic or legacy applications.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with system architectures involving low-latency synchronous requests, asynchronous execution patterns, and queue management systems (e.g., SQS, RabbitMQ).
- Work Location: Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata, or Hybrid.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Systems-minded engineer comfortable with complex codebase cleanup and building resilient, scalable backend foundations.
- Experience as an architectural partner and proactive thinker focused on long-term scalability and product health, not just feature delivery.
- Familiarity or interest in AI innovation, including building or integrating AI agents and leveraging modern AI tools and frameworks; willingness to learn Go (Golang) is a plus.
