About This Role
- Lead field operations and coordination with government and community institutions to implement economic inclusion programs targeting 4000+ ultra-poor households in Meghalaya.
- Mobilize vulnerable women into groups, enable access to government entitlements, livelihood planning, and capacity building of community cadres for sustainable impact.
- Ensure timely, quality implementation of project activities, data collection, reporting, and develop case studies for knowledge management.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience in development sector, rural development, poverty eradication, livelihood promotion, tribal development, or administrative roles; internship or work experience at block/district level in related missions preferred.
- Must have own bike and valid driving license due to field-based nature of job.
- Working knowledge of English and local language (read, speak, write).
- Preference for women candidates and candidates from ST, SC, or local Meghalaya communities; position transferable within Meghalaya with 15 days notice.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in block or district level implementation of rural livelihood or social inclusion programs, especially under government missions like NRLM or SRLM.
- Capable of engaging multiple grassroots stakeholders including government departments, local leaders, and community institutions.
- Based locally or willing to work in rural Meghalaya with field mobility and strong community engagement skills.
