Independently analyze and resolve complex network and security incidents within Zeiss Cloud services and infrastructure, ensuring service stability and operational continuity.
Monitor and troubleshoot using logs, packet captures, and analytics across technologies including WASP (Akamai CDN & WAF), SSE (Zscaler), and WAN (SD-WAN, MPLS), with a focus on WASP expertise.
Act as a technical escalation point, lead operational improvements and projects end-to-end, collaborate closely with Service Owners, internal teams, and external providers for incident resolution.
5-7 years of experience in incident, request, change, and problem management related to network security.
Strong hands-on expertise in at least one domain: WASP (Akamai WAF & CDN preferred), SSE (Zscaler), or WAN (SD-WAN, MPLS).
Proficiency with troubleshooting tools (tcpdump, Wireshark, nslookup, traceroute) and strong understanding of network protocols, OSI model, and web/application layer technologies.
Willingness to work 24x7 rotational shifts and be available on-call as required.
Deep technical knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting skills mainly in WASP (Akamai) with the ability and willingness to expand expertise to SSE and WAN domains.
Experience working in L3 NOC or similar complex network operations environments, with accountability for escalation and leading resolution efforts.
Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements, document procedures (SOP/KB), and mentor junior team members in a structured, process-driven environment.
