About This Role
- Lead design and architecture of a scalable, maintainable AI Innovation Platform supporting engineering teams across Syngenta.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to define best practices, guide technical decisions, and ensure quality and performance of the AI platform.
- Stay updated on AI trends, evaluate emerging technologies, and integrate appropriate AI (LLM or otherwise) solutions into platform architecture.
Minimum Requirements
- 10–12 years experience in design and development with strong Object-Oriented Programming fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with design patterns, Domain-Driven Design, microservices, serverless architectures, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in AWS cloud platform and knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Work Experience Required: 10–12 years as explicitly mentioned in the JD.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced Staff Engineer or Architect with hands-on implementation of AI-based solutions (LLM preferred).
- Strong expertise in scalable cloud architectures (especially AWS), microservices, container orchestration, and CI/CD automation.
- Capable of engaging stakeholders across technical and senior leadership levels, translating complex AI/architecture concepts for diverse audiences and business needs.
