About This Role
- Develop and optimize Android applications using Kotlin, focusing on custom views, animations, and advanced UI rendering.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and Firebase services within Android apps.
- Maintain code quality through unit testing and implement app architecture patterns like MVVM or BLoC.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Android developer.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and strong understanding of Android SDK and related frameworks.
- Work location: Chennai with hybrid model (2 days onsite at Samsung office, 3 days WFH).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in advanced Android UI development including custom views and animations.
- Skilled in integrating multiple backend communication protocols (REST, GraphQL, WebSockets, Firebase).
- Able to work independently following standard practices with strong communication skills for technical explanations.
