About This Role
- Lead technical coordination and execution of complex Substation Automation System projects including design, manufacturing, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Develop and verify base and detailed engineering designs ensuring compliance with technical specifications and internal processes.
- Drive improvements in project margin through upsales and share project learnings across multiple departments within the unit.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (BE/B.Tech).
- 8 – 12 years of relevant work experience in Substation Automation Systems and related technologies.
- Working knowledge of generator, line, transformer, busbar protection relays and bay control units.
- Experience with IED configuration tools (PCM600, DIGSI, Agile Studio, Easergy Studio), MicroSCADA for SAS & DMS, and protocols such as IEC61850, Modbus, IEC-104, IEC-101, DLMS.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading project execution for complex and fast-track electrical engineering projects, including retrofit and turnkey approaches.
- Familiar with cybersecurity aspects for substation automation and network control centers.
- Capable of coordinating technical teams and stakeholders to deliver project goals and ensure technical compliance and risk mitigation.
