About This Role
- Own creation and verification of Base Design and Detail Design for Substation Automation projects, including Bay and Station level engineering.
- Lead technical coordination during project execution phases such as Detail Design, Manufacturing, Testing, and Commissioning, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
- Ensure technical specifications compliance, promote project execution efficiency for complex projects like Retrofits and Turn Key projects, and share project learnings internally.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (BE/B.Tech).
- 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in substation automation or related fields.
- Proficiency with IED configuration tools such as PCM600, DIGSI, Agile Studio, Easergy Studio and knowledge of protocols IEC61850, Modbus, IEC-104, IEC-101, DLMS.
- Experience with Generator, Line, Transformer, Busbar protection relays and Bay control units; knowledge of MicroSCADA, Gateway, Remote HMI, and cybersecurity for substation automation/network control centers.

- Experienced in managing complex substation automation projects including fast track and retrofit projects with strong technical leadership.
- Familiar with industrial automation standards and tools specific to protection relays and control units, indicating domain specialization.
- Capable of coordinating technical teams and ensuring compliance to internal and external regulations in engineering project execution contexts.
