Software Development Engineer in Test

Own design, development, and maintenance of automated tests and test frameworks for cloud platform services and APIs.

Build and execute API, integration, contract, regression, system, end-to-end, performance, scalability, and reliability tests for distributed cloud services.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate closely with software engineers and architects to improve testability and software quality.

5+ years of experience in SDET, Quality Engineering, Software Engineering, or Test Automation roles.

Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or another modern programming language.

Hands-on experience with automated testing for REST APIs, microservices, cloud-native applications, and integration into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

Good understanding of distributed systems, testing asynchronous workflows, retries, failures, and service dependencies.

Experienced in testing complex distributed, cloud-native services with strong focus on API, integration, and reliability testing.

Comfortable working in a cloud platform engineering environment involving collaboration with software engineers, architects, and DevOps.

Skillful in using diagnostic tools (logs, metrics, traces) to troubleshoot and improve test coverage and CI/CD quality gates.
