Provide quality assurance and testing support for Layer 2/Layer 3 networking products focused on customer-specific tests for releases and solutions.
Collaborate with development, QA, and program management teams to deliver high-quality, timely software test projects.
Develop and maintain deep technical expertise in switching/routing architectures, networking protocols, and automated/manual testing of multi-dimensional scaled solutions.
Minimum 10 years of relevant testing experience in Layer 2/Layer 3 technologies on networking devices.
Strong background in routing/switching and router/switch architecture.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering; Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Role requires onsite work from HPE Bangalore office.
Experienced in multi-vendor networking environments (Juniper, Cisco, Nortel, Huawei) and familiar with traffic generators and protocol analyzers (e.g., Spirent, Ixia).
Proficient in automation scripting using Python, Pytest, Go, or similar languages, with ability to debug automation and software issues.
Knowledge of complex networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN, etc.) and data center/cloud networking technologies; preferably holding certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIS, or JNCIP.
