About This Role
- Lead design, development, debugging, and maintenance of Node.js backend applications including RESTful APIs and database components.
- Support and enhance existing production backend systems focusing on performance, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams, building UI components with frontend skills (Vue.js or similar) and managing code with Git and CI/CD workflows.
Minimum Requirements
- 8–12 years professional software development experience with strong backend focus.
- Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js and Perl; experience with RESTful API development and integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Working knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js or similar) and experience with Agile/Scrum development.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in maintaining and optimizing production backend systems emphasizing security and performance.
- Familiar with modern development workflows including Git, CI/CD, and responsive frontend practices using Vue.js or similar frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated through ownership of medium to large scale backend projects in Agile environments.
