Lead design, development, and delivery of complex enterprise Java/J2EE applications using microservices architectures and tools such as Java 11/17, Spring Boot, Kafka, IBM MQ, and WebSphere.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural direction for a team of 5–10 engineers, ensuring adherence to engineering best practices including TDD and BDD.
Drive migration from monolithic to cloud-native microservices, manage CI/CD pipelines, deployment on ECS/OpenShift, and integration between backend and frontend layers (Angular, React).
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field required; Master's preferred.
10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with 5+ years in a technical lead or senior engineering role.
Strong proficiency in Java (11/17), J2EE, Spring Framework, microservices architecture, Apache Kafka, IBM MQ, WebSphere Application Server, Oracle Database, and container platforms (ECS/OpenShift).
Experience in financial services or banking technology preferred but not strictly mandatory.
