SAP S/4HANA Senior Consultant - IM & WM

Own the end-to-end implementation and configuration of SAP S/4HANA Inventory Management (IM) and Warehouse Management (WM) across multiple plants and divisions to replace legacy inventory systems.

Lead workshops and design functional specifications for inventory physical stock and system synchronization, enforcing batch-level accuracy, FIFO picking, shelf-life, and product-specific packing rules.

Integrate SAP inventory data in real time with shop-floor execution layers and mobile/handheld barcode scanning for accurate inventory and consumption tracking.

8+ years SAP consulting experience including 5+ full-lifecycle implementations with hands-on IM and WM configuration; at least 2 implementations on SAP S/4HANA (1909 or later).

Mandatory hands-on experience in Batch Management configuration and end-to-end traceability features including batch determination, split/merge, shelf-life enforcement, and batch genealogy.

Deep expertise in Inventory Management and Warehouse Management configuration: movement types, stock-status handling, storage structures, picking/putaway strategies, and FIFO picking.

Fluent professional English required; business-level Japanese preferred but not mandatory; hybrid delivery with some on-site presence at Japan sites.

Experienced SAP consultant focused on manufacturing or production environments with multiple plant scope requiring complex batch, shelf-life, and FIFO management.

Capable of conducting fit/gap analysis workshops and producing auditable designs and test scripts for multi-division warehouse and inventory processes.

Familiar with integrating SAP Inventory with MES/shop-floor execution systems, supporting mobile scanning and real-time inventory synchronization.
