Own end-to-end development and delivery of production software systems across full-stack (backend, frontend, infrastructure).

Lead and manage a software engineering team, including performance management, development, and setting engineering direction.

Drive engineering processes like agile delivery, planning, retrospectives, and incident management across distributed UK and India teams.

Strong commercial software engineering experience with production systems shipping.

Full-stack capability with hands-on backend and frontend experience; backend-only or frontend-only not acceptable.

Experience leading engineering teams and managing performance and process.

Familiarity with SQL, RESTful APIs, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud-hosted databases.

Experienced in making and communicating architectural decisions including trade-offs.

Comfortable managing competing priorities across both technical and people leadership responsibilities.

Familiar with security fundamentals (auth, encryption, PII handling) and aware of GDPR compliance relevant to software systems.
