Power Systems Application Engineer – Energy Market Data Management

Analyze customer engineering, business, and software requirements to propose and implement data management solutions for power systems applications.

Design, develop, test, and document data management applications including support of software releases and troubleshooting defects.

Ensure data accessibility, reliability, and compliance with internal and external regulations while supporting global customers with occasional travel.

Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Power Systems and Data Management.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including power systems analysis and power system application software development for utilities or electricity markets.

Proficiency in high-performance programming languages such as C, FORTRAN, or C++ and familiarity with Linux or similar operating systems.

Formal education in Data Management, Data Structures, and Databases; strong English communication skills.

Experienced in developing high-performance, multi-threaded, memory-intensive analytical applications in power systems domain.

Capable of independently analyzing complex requirements and delivering end-to-end data management solutions with strong software engineering practices.

Comfortable supporting global customers with occasional travel and adhering to regulatory standards in a technically demanding environment.
