Manage and develop PostgreSQL databases in development, testing, and production environments with emphasis on performance tuning, query optimization, and backup/recovery.

Design and maintain database schemas, physical data models, and implement complex SQL queries, functions, stored procedures, and database objects.

Support database migration and upgrade projects and optimize Time Series Databases (preferably QuestDB) within high-volume, real-time data processing environments.

5-10 years of overall database experience with strong hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL DBA and development.

Proven skills in performance tuning, complex SQL development, backup/recovery strategies, and database migration projects.

Experience with Time Series Databases, preferably QuestDB, and high-throughput/real-time application environments.

Location: Mumbai with hybrid work model. Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, IT, or related field.

Experienced in working with complex, high-volume, real-time database environments demanding steady performance and reliability improvements.

Skilled in collaboration with cross-functional teams including application developers, architects, DevOps, and data teams to optimize database solutions.

Comfortable leading database migration and upgrade initiatives and managing critical database health and capacity monitoring activities.
