Design, implement, and evolve secure, scalable enterprise data and analytics platforms on Azure Databricks and related services, aligned to business, regulatory, and operational requirements.
Lead Databricks platform architecture including workspace design, cluster strategy, data storage, security controls, CI/CD integration, and environment management to meet current and future demands.
Ensure platform resilience and operational excellence through monitoring, capacity planning, cost optimization, incident management, and governance including security controls and regulatory compliance.
Minimum Requirements
5-8 years of experience specifically with Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Azure networking, identity management, and cloud security patterns.
Proven expertise in Databricks platform architecture and implementation, including security, governance, and CI/CD integration.
Experience managing environment lifecycle across development, test, and production, including incident management and root cause analysis.
Work Experience Required: 5-8 years relevant experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Advanced hands-on experience in Azure Databricks and Azure cloud platform engineering for enterprise-scale deployments.
Leadership capability to define platform architecture and governance ensuring security and compliance in a complex, regulated environment.
Strong orientation towards operational excellence including proactive monitoring, performance tuning, cost optimization, and knowledge transfer for long-term platform sustainability.
