Develop and maintain next-generation platforms for Access and Aggregation deployments using JunOS or Junos EVO software architectures in Metro and Mobile Backhaul networks.
Collaborate closely with product management, system and solution test teams to ensure high-quality product and solution delivery.
Provide engineering support in critical customer escalations by working with the Juniper Technical Assistance Team.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field.
Minimum 6 years of software development experience.
Proficiency in C and C++ programming and debugging, along with expertise in L2 protocols such as STP, ERPS, 802.1x, jflow, sFlow, Layer 2 bridging/switching.
Experience with Unix/Linux systems programming including user-space processes, kernel, socket programming, and inter-process communication.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Has solid domain expertise in Service Provider Technologies, Access and Aggregation Deployments, Metro, and Mobile Backhaul environments.
Experienced in application development on DNX chipset families like Jericho and Jericho2, indicating familiarity with specialized network hardware.
Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills supported by collaborative work experience with cross-functional teams including product management and technical support.
