About This Role
- Lead and actively contribute to design, coding, and development of switch/router firmware features including L2/Bridging/L3/Routing/IPApps/Security/Classifiers.
- Design and develop switch software capabilities for next-generation Aruba wired networking platforms.
- Participate in end-to-end product development lifecycle and generate ideas for future product roadmap items.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/BTech).
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in enterprise networking product development.
- Expertise in C programming and strong operating system experience (Linux, GreenHills, VxWorks).
- Strong knowledge of L2/L3 networking protocols and security features for switches/routers.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and integrating network firmware closely aligned with hardware and ASIC architectures (e.g. Broadcom).
- Skilled in both platform dependent and independent protocol development within complex enterprise networking environments.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities across OS, network stack, sniffers, and hardware debugging.
