Own end-to-end ETL and data migration testing validating data quality, completeness, and transformations across multiple pipeline stages.
Write and execute complex SQL queries for backend validation, reconciliation, and non-functional checks to ensure data correctness in target systems.
Manage defect lifecycle using tools like Jira and collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and ensure timely delivery of high-quality data solutions.
4–6 years of overall QA/testing experience with 2–3 years in data testing or data migration in enterprise systems.
Strong SQL skills including joins, aggregations, and reconciliation queries across multiple databases or pipeline stages.
Experience in data migration or ETL/ELT and data lake/data warehousing testing, preferably with Guidewire InsuranceSuite data models or migration tooling.
Work Experience Required: 4–6 years QA experience with 2–3 years focused on data testing or migration.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum with distributed teams involving data engineers, migration developers, functional QA, architects, and customer SMEs.
Proven ability to design data test strategies, author detailed test cases, and perform complex reconciliation to identify and escalate data quality risks.
Background or familiarity with core insurance systems data migration (Guidewire InsuranceSuite preferred) and cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake) is advantageous but not mandatory.
