Lead definition and execution of a unified enterprise-wide test automation strategy across multiple Vodafone markets focusing on UI, API, mobile, integration and end-to-end testing.
Drive AI-augmented automation transformation including embedding AI, Generative AI and intelligent agents into testing practices to improve release velocity, quality, and cost efficiency.
Oversee governance, standards, reusable automation assets, mentor distributed teams, and align automation delivery with Agile/SAFe programmes and CI/CD pipelines.
Minimum Requirements
15+ years of hands-on experience in Test Automation and Quality Engineering.
Proficient in programming languages: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript or Python with solid OOP and design patterns understanding.
Experience with automation tools/frameworks: Playwright (preferred), Selenium, Appium, Tosca and API automation tools like REST Assured, Postman or Karate.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools including Azure DevOps (essential), Jenkins, Git; experience in Agile and SAFe environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven leadership in global multi-market quality engineering transformation with expertise in AI and Generative AI applications in testing.
Strong technical operating style demonstrated by architecture of scalable automation frameworks and integration into DevOps workflows.
Experienced in managing complex distributed teams and stakeholder engagement in large-scale enterprise environments.
