Design, build, and maintain backend integrations between DERMS platform and third-party IoT devices, OEM APIs, and utility protocols using .NET and Azure services.
Develop and support distributed, event-driven systems including containerized .NET services Azure Functions, and device telemetry ingestion workflows.
Troubleshoot production issues, improve system reliability, and collaborate across global teams for engineering standards and system design.
Minimum Requirements
2–6 years of backend software engineering experience.
Strong proficiency in .NET (C#), familiarity with .NET 6+ and ideally versions 9/10.
Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and integrating 3rd-party APIs or message-based systems.
Familiarity with Azure cloud platform and authentication protocols like OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, 2FA, or OTP.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced backend engineer comfortable with cloud-native development and distributed event-driven systems on Azure.
Practical experience integrating IoT devices, telemetry systems, or hardware with software platforms.
Interest or exposure to energy systems, climate technology, or utility-scale infrastructure integrations.
