Senior Analyst (Data Strategy & Acquisition)

Lead evaluation, acquisition, and management of external healthcare and commercial data sources supporting Roche's U.S. business teams.

Collaborate with U.S. stakeholders and external vendors to translate business needs into data requirements, assess datasets, and guide data-driven decisions.

Perform data validation and profiling, document findings, and improve data evaluation and acquisition processes.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Healthcare, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or related discipline.

5+ years relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, life sciences consulting, healthcare analytics, market research, competitive intelligence, business research, or commercial analytics.

Strong foundation in life sciences/pharma/healthcare and understanding of pharmaceutical industry landscape.

Work Experience Required: 5+ years relevant experience.

Experienced in working with diverse U.S. healthcare/pharmaceutical commercial datasets including payer, claims, sales, market intelligence, etc.

Skilled in structured thinking, stakeholder consultation, and vendor management in a cross-functional, U.S.-facing environment.

Ability to challenge assumptions, perform data profiling/validation, and translate complex data into actionable business insights.
