Associate Principal Engineer

Design and develop scalable, secure software architectures primarily using Microsoft technologies for high-transaction cloud applications.

Lead architectural decision-making, code reviews, and technical quality assurance for microservices-based platform services including visitor tracking, authentication, and payments.

Collaborate with architects, analysts, and leadership to ensure alignment with architectural standards, recommend tooling, and drive quality improvement initiatives.

7+ years of relevant experience as an Associate Principal Engineer or similar role.

Expertise in .NET framework (.NET Core, .NET 5/6), WebAPI, SOLR, Elastic Search, SQL Server, and Microsoft web technologies like JavaScript and JQuery.

Strong understanding of cloud development and design patterns including serverless, distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful services.

Experience with relational (SQL Server), NoSQL, and Graph databases; proficiency in OOP concepts, design patterns (SOLID), scalability, availability, and performance optimization of cloud applications.

Candidate should have strong architectural design experience for complex, large-scale, microservices-based cloud applications using Microsoft stack.

Comfortable working cross-functionally with multiple teams to align on technical specifications and implement high-quality standards.

Experienced in evaluating and recommending new tools and technologies strategically to optimize software product delivery and scalability.
