Manage and support Teradata’s as-a-Service cloud offerings across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms, including network and security administration.
Lead cloud change management activities, ensuring compliance with processes and communication with stakeholders to meet SLAs in a 24x7 VaaS environment.
Support migration from on-premises to cloud, implement security best practices, and provide Tier 1 escalation and support within the Cloud Data Protection L2 team.
3-5 years of IT experience in Systems Administrator/Engineer roles.
Minimum 1 year of hands-on cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
4 Year Engineering Degree or 3 Year Masters in Computer Application.
Willingness to provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotational basis and willingness to travel (short and long term).
Experienced in cloud infrastructure components including virtualization, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and orchestration tools with hands-on knowledge of Azure and enterprise VPNs.
Hands-on experience in Teradata administration, Linux administration, shell scripting, and RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, or Teradata.
Proven track record in managing cloud operations within a 24x7 support environment and capable of functioning as a shift lead managing operations and process improvements.
