Manager - Software Engineering

Lead and manage a team of 4-8 software engineers to deliver scalable, secure healthcare applications in a fast-paced AI-first environment.

Own sprint execution, delivery commitments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business outcomes.

Drive engineering excellence through system design, code reviews, AI-assisted development adoption, and quality and reliability standards.

8+ years of software engineering experience with strong skills in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and React.

1+ years of people leadership, team lead, or engineering management experience.

Hands-on experience with distributed systems (e.g. Kafka), SQL databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL), troubleshooting, and production support.

Practical experience using AI coding assistants in the development lifecycle and ability to validate AI-generated code.

Experienced engineering leader comfortable balancing people management and hands-on technical contributions in software development and architecture.

Proven ability to deliver complex projects in Agile environments, collaborate with distributed teams, and mentor engineers.

Comfortable with AI-first development practices and driving engineering productivity improvements leveraging AI tools.
