Principal Product Manager - Technical - System Design Architecture, API, Cloud

Lead product strategy and vision specifically for File Transfer products within Platform Services, balancing multiple products and feature trade-offs.

Drive execution and delivery by monitoring feature development, ensuring testability, and using data and customer feedback to refine the product backlog and optimize adoption across marketplaces.

Engage with stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, mentor junior PMs, and represent Mastercard externally to align product outcomes with business goals and operational excellence.

10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5+ years in a technical product role.

Strong understanding of platform architecture, APIs, and system design.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA or equivalent is a plus).

Experience with data-driven decision making, runtime metrics, and operational dashboards.

Experienced in owning and delivering platform or enterprise-scale products with a focus on scalable architecture and API-driven systems.

Able to define product vision, set objectives (OKRs), and influence large cross-functional and distributed teams.

Proven ability to mentor junior product managers and lead product operations, aligning execution with organizational strategy.
